#301:  Proposed Bylaw Change

In Bylaw Article III Section 2 (Annual Meeting), after “At the Annual Meeting the Unit Owners shall fill any expired Board seat(s) by vote,”

insert

“nominations for an open seat may be self or open nominations.  The candidates’ names on any ballot must be in alphabetical order by last name.”

Rationale:  this change is required to comply with new legislation (P.L. 2017 chapter 106, specifically C.45:22A-45.2. c. (4) which allows self-nomination and (5) requiring alphabetical order.  The bylaws should be changed to be consistent with New Jersey law.
